Challenge

As an exhibitor at the Feria Internacional de Turismo (FITUR), Diputació de Barcelona faced the challenge of highlighting wellness tourism proposals in Barcelona’s coastal regions. With the diverse array of destinations and proposals at the fair, it was crucial to find a unique and attractive way to present the gastronomic richness, aquatic activities, fishing culture, and upcoming nautical events, such as the prestigious 2024 America’s Cup, not only through video but also with a presentation that would expand and complement the visual narrative.

Solution

Intracon tackled this challenge by creating the promotional tourism video “Costa Barcelona - Sea of Experiences” together with an emotion-filled presentation. We focused not only on showcasing the wonders of Barcelona’s coast, but also on immersing viewers in an engaging and thrilling experience. One of our key contributions was the innovative idea of bringing the Mediterranean Sea to life as the narrator and protagonist of the video. Through a captivating script and professional voice-over, the Mediterranean Sea guided viewers on a visual journey through the most enchanting corners of the province. The meticulous editing of images and videos allowed for the creation of a visually striking narrative that resonated with the audience, highlighting the unique experiences that Costa Barcelona has to offer. Meanwhile, the presentation provided additional data and details that enriched the viewer’s experience. In summary, the solution not only achieved the goal of effectively presenting the tourism proposals, but also stood out among the competition, leaving a lasting impression on the FITUR attendees.
